Entry and career
Exciting challenges and opportunities to succeed together
Students/Career entry
Would you like to start your career straight after your apprenticeship or studies or would you like to make a career change? With us, you have the chance to drive exciting topics forward from day 1. Whether by expanding your specialist knowledge, gaining experience in projects or through further training and talent programs - we support your development. From internships to final theses and working student jobs, we offer you the opportunity to put your theoretical knowledge into practice and secure important contacts for your career.
Have you decided on a technical bachelor's degree course and the study regulations stipulate a preliminary or basic internship up to the third semester as an admission requirement? In various areas of DEUTZ, the pre- or basic internship modules required by the universities can be completed in a period of between six weeks and three months for machining production techniques, assembly, quality control, etc.
Our aim is to get you excited about the world of engines by offering you the opportunity to work on small projects and exciting tasks over a period of three to six months. You will receive intensive support in the specialist area and have access to further training opportunities.
Are you about to complete your Bachelor's or Master's degree and would like to write a practice-oriented thesis?
DEUTZ offers exciting opportunities to combine the scientific requirements of universities with the practical experience of an industrial company. We always have interesting topics in the technical and commercial areas that lend themselves to a final thesis. To ensure that it is a complete success for the students, we provide them with intensive support. Together it is possible for the students to apply their theoretical knowledge in the best possible way and at the same time produce work results for us that we can use in our projects.
But even if a special topic has already been coordinated with the university, we look forward to receiving a speculative application. Because we are open to suggestions and check whether we can meet this request in one of our departments.
Students who would like to work and earn money alongside their studies can work for us as student trainees. You will be assigned to an area corresponding to the field of study and support the employees in the processing of daily tasks or in project work.
We offer an exciting dual study program that perfectly combines theory and practice. With us, you can shape the future of engine technology and take on responsibility from the start. We collaborate with FOM University in Cologne and the University of Applied Sciences in Düsseldorf to provide you with top-notch education. Start your career at DEUTZ AG and become part of an innovative company that redefines the boundaries of engine technology.
Pupils/Trainees
Would you like to get a taste of an apprenticeship during your time at school and do a student or orientation internship?
Or have you finished school and now want to start a new chapter and are considering completing an apprenticeship? Have you chosen a technical/industrial or IT profession?
DEUTZ is your chance!
At DEUTZ, we offer both student internships and various apprenticeships.
During the internship, students work independently on agreed topics or are part of a project team. As we want to get them excited about the world of engines, we offer them the opportunity to work on smaller projects and interesting tasks.
WHAT WE OFFER DURING THE TRAINING
We place the highest value on the practice-oriented training and further education of our trainees. Experienced and pedagogically trained instructors impart knowledge and skills that meet the highest standards. Our trainers work with state-of-the-art training equipment.
In-house training plans ensure that the content of the respective job profile is conveyed in the best possible way - for example, through assignments in the training workshop and in different company departments and thus in a constant alternation of theory and practice.
Our internal factory school lessons perfectly complement the lessons at the vocational school. The skills week and project work, among other things, are a matter of course for us. In addition, we specifically promote independent work, communication skills, teamwork and personal responsibility.
Intensive training for the final examination at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce rounds off the apprenticeship with us.
