„Freunde der Motorensammlung DEUTZ e.V.“
DEUTZ’s engine collection is protected as cultural property by the Federal Republic of Germany. The association “Freunde der Motorensammlung DEUTZ e.V.” is committed to safeguard and preserve these unique cultural goods.
In cooperation with the Cologne City Museum, the association promotes the availability of the engine collection to a broad public, for example by organizing visitor programmes. It also finances redesign and restoration projects. Another of the association's tasks is to deepen our current knowledge of the history of the combustion engine by supporting scientific research and popular science publications.
