Key Features
The T(T)CD 5.1 (OM934) series - with up to 170 kW Power Output
- High operational capability - Characterised by maximum availability and reliability as well as low total cost of ownership and high efficiency. They impress with their proven durability and outstanding power-to-weight ratio.
- Low emissions and cost-efficient: Thanks to optimised combustion technology and advanced exhaust gas aftertreatment, the diesel engine meets the most common emissions standards.
- Electronics: Optimum torque, maximum power and minimum fuel consumption are ensured by the MCM engine control unit and ACM exhaust aftertreatment control unit. The CPC4 interface offers comprehensive vehicle and operating functions.
- Turbocharging: Single-stage turbochargers compress air, allowing more oxygen to flow into the combustion chamber. The two-stage turbocharging in the TTCD 5.1 ensures low fuel consumption over a wide engine speed range and delivers exceptionally high torque at low engine speeds.
- Fuel injection: Optimised fuel combustion in the cylinder by means of electronically controlled common rail fuel injection in combination with other technologies such as turbocharging.
- Internal emission reduction: Significant reduction of nitrogen oxide emissions by means of exhaust gas recirculation (EGR). Optimised combustion and reduced emissions and consumption are made possible by the use of common rail fuel injection.
- One-box solution for exhaust gas aftertreatment: The combined all-in-one box in a compact design with selective catalytic reduction (SCR), diesel particulate filter (DPF) and integrated dosing unit enables economical use.
- Renewable and synthetic fuels: All of our engines can be operated with synthetic fuels such as HVO (hydrogenated vegetable oil) and GTL (gas-to-liquid) in accordance with the EN15940 standard.
